Plus, Airbnb’s vast network offers a wide range of options, including home-stays, private villas, farmhouses, and independent bungalows. My experiences with my pet dogs at farmhouses, villas, and beach houses on Airbnb have been fantastic!

2. Stayvista: If you’re seeking a luxurious getaway with your dog, consider Stayvista. You can communicate your pet’s needs with the property caretakers. I once stayed at a Stayvista property during Diwali. It was a charming Tiny House with a large yard. My dogs loved running around in the yard, and the lack of firecracker noise made the stay even more peaceful and pleasant.

3. BringFido: This is a website I consistently use to find great places to stay with my pets. They offer an extensive collection of pet-friendly accommodations, not just in India, but worldwide!

4. Instagram (example: pawcation_india): Instagram has become a platform for discovering new businesses, including pet-friendly accommodations. For instance, the pawcation_india Instagram handle offers numerous pet-friendly recommendations based on their travel experiences. By searching “pet-friendly hotels” or “accommodations” in a specific city or location, Instagram’s search engine will generate a list of pages. The only caveat is that finding the right fit requires some research. You’ll need to read reviews on Google or other platforms, which can be time-consuming.

5. Taj Group of Hotels: Mr. Ratan Tata’s love for dogs is quite well-known. Their hotel chains such as IHCL, SeleQtion, Taj have a number of hotel and resort properties that are pet-friendly. You can check them out on their website or on other hotel aggregator sites as well.

6. Petcationline: Petcationline.com is a website I have explored a bit to find stay options within India. They have a good number of hotel and homestay options listed on their platform, so you can check them out too!

7. Marriott & Accor Group of Hotels: Similar to Taj, Marriott Group (american hotel chain) and Accor Group (French hotel chain) have many hotels within India – from budget to luxury selection, which hosts and allows pets to stay within their hotel properties. So you can even opt for a little staycation with your pups, for some relaxed time!
